Couch Day Thoughts

It's not possible to have healthy relationships with unhealthy people. Either accept them as they are or let them go. Do not seek to enlighten them. They aren't looking for your truth. That is their own journey. It serves one better to enlighten the self. If all else fails, at least you have grown.

  1. Always be true to yourself and others will find their way to you.

I am adding your blog to my blog-roll, I think it would be good for people to understand the challenge of living with other types of chronic disease. I was diagnosed with early RA in my thirties and my own blog outlines my stories of living with arhritis.

No matter your diagnosis, we must all be warriors to fight the pain of chronic disease and live a productive life.

    Stay well,

  2. Hi J.G.! I'm pleased to meet you and honoured that you have included me in your blog-roll. I agree that we have much to learn from each other. I believe that those of us living with chronic illness share a common bond and we can most certainly enrich each others lives by sharing our experience. There is always something new to learn.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2002. Also, I have additional health challenges as most of us do with these conditions. I have not quite figured out where I would like this blog to go, but I do know that I wish for it to be positive and real. I would like to share my experience in living with Fibromyalgia and Depression with the intention of helping others (as well as learning from others) rise above it.

We are, indeed, warriors. We must arm ourselves with all the resources and information available so that we may live a fulfilled and happy life.

    Be happy and well,
    Couch Day Sue
